Quality

The Colisa Biological Resource Center (BRC) has been ISO 9001:2015 certified since July 2020, for the scope "Introduction, characterisation, conservation and provision of ichthyological samples from the Colisa Biological Resource Centre" (see the certificate).

The certification was renewed by Euro-Quality System International in April 2023.

This unifying project for our group has also enabled us to build our operations together and to overcome the difficulties encountered by our remote, multi-site organisation.

By relying on its quality management system, the BRC aims to guarantee its services for the samples in its collection: management of the collection, age-reading expertise and distribution, and to be part of a continuous improvement process to best meet the needs of its customers and the users of its samples.

Colisa's missions, scope, process map and quality policy are described in its Quality Manual.

The quality policy describes Colisa’s goals and the strategic directions and objectives for meeting them. The process map provides an overview of Colisa's organisation, showing these processes and their interactions, as well as distinguishing business, support and management processes.
